The 2014 Pan Pacific Masters Games has come to an end, with a great closing ceremony at the Gold Coast Convention Centre last Saturday. We would like to congratulate all competitors on a great event, especially our club members who medalled over the week!
The tournament was yet again a great success with competitors travelling from all around Australia and even New Zealand to be here. There was some great tennis on view, with some of our junior members lucky enough to witness a tournament of this size first hand. We had great weather throughout the tournament, very lucky there were no scorchers!
A big thanks to all who helped out at the tournament, we couldn’t have done it without you. Also thankyou to all our other members who had to give up their courts for the event to be possible. We are back to our normal schedule this week, and look forward to seeing everyone again!
